A language-learning app built around listening. You learn by understanding graded stories and real conversations by ear, tapping words as you go, and reviewing what you save so it sticks.
What does “learning by listening” mean?
It means you build the language the way you built your first one, by understanding the things you hear. Attunly gives you stories and conversations pitched just above your current level, so you follow along, pick up meaning from context, and let the sounds and patterns sink in. Reading and translation are there when you want them, but listening leads.
How is Attunly different from other language apps?
Most apps drill you with isolated words and multiple-choice taps. Attunly is built around comprehension: real, level-graded stories and conversations you understand by ear, with tap-to-translate on any word and spaced-repetition review for the ones you save. Less gamified grinding, more actually understanding the language.
Which devices does it run on?
Attunly is available now on iOS (App Store) and Android (Google Play).
Do I need to know some of the language already?
No. Content starts at A0, total beginner, and climbs all the way to C2, so you can start from zero or jump in at your level.
What do the levels (A0 to C2) mean?
They’re the CEFR levels, a standard scale for how much of a language you understand. A0 is a total beginner starting from zero. A1 and A2 are early basics, B1 and B2 are solid intermediate, and C1 and C2 run from advanced to near-native. Attunly grades every story to a level, so you can always find something just above where you are. Tap any level chip in the Languages section to see what it means.
Which language should I start with?
Attunly launches with eight: Spanish, Italian, French, Romanian, Arabic, Hebrew, Korean, and Chinese. Pick the one you’re most drawn to hear. Motivation matters more than difficulty, and because you start at A0, any of them works from zero.
How much does it cost?
Attunly is free to use for the basics and lower-level stories. Attunly Plus unlocks every story and every level, billed monthly or annually, and the price is always shown before you buy.
